The Angel Factory by Terence Blacker is a pretty good book so far. The main character, Thomas, finds out that his whole family: his mom, his dad, his sister, and even his dog are all angels. Then he finds out that with the help of his friend Gip, a boy with secret hideaways and a crazy mom, that he's adopted.So far my view on this book is that is has a great plot, but not the best writing. It's a little to fast paced and he seems to get over and move on a little to quickly. It's like he doesn't really care that his family has been lying to him but he wants to make a big deal about it anyway.
One question thats been tugging at the back of my mind is about Amy, Thomas' sister. Thomas' parents said that angels can't reproduce, so where did Amy come from? My idea is that she came from an angel factory, which they haven't talked about at all over the course of the book.
I'm going to try to finish the book this weekend, so wish me luck!!!
